I ordered both this one and the one from Northface. This one is $130 and the one from Northface is $200. The designs are similar but definitely not the same. The outside Northface Logo is white on this one its black on the one from Northface. The Northface is made is Vietnam with a slightly better feeling of the outside and inside materials. This one is made in China with slightly courser materials inside and out. The pockets on this one are different from the one from Northface. The extra small zipper compartment is located in a different place on the two different jackets. There is a distinct difference between the one ordered from Northface and the one from Amazon. To me IT'S NOT WORTH A $ 70 DOLLAR DIFFERENCE especially for a child that might use it one or two seasons. Stick with the cheaper one from Amazon for the child size. Get the adult size from Northface for yourself.Can not go wrong with Northface for kids. It has held up nicely, excellent zipper quality and warmth on the coldest of days. Don’t think twice, get it for your kid.1. This jacket was packed so tightly in the box , when I used the knife to open the box, I almost hurt the jacket , which is too bad .2. The jacket is a real The North Face , but the plastic bag is not the original The North Face one .3. On the label of this jacket , someone marked 40%off , $130.00 while I paid $149.254. There is a damage at the bottom of the jacket , it is very small damage , it is too much trouble to change , so I just keep it .Otherwise , this jacket is great .This jacket is wonderful, nice and smooth zipper, convenient pockets and it keeps my kiddo warm in 30 degrees. I highly recommend.It’s a great coat. Good quality. But size chart is a little misleading. My son is 42 inches and as advertised I bought the size it suggested. It’s a little big. But I’m willing to work with it because he will grow into it.My son loves this jacket. I bought it knowing it would be a little big on him as he is on the smaller end of the spectrum. (Size purchased xxs). He is 4.5yrs old around 39'' tall. He will get to wear it next winter which is a huge plus. He said that hood is soft and feels warmer than his other reversible North Face.Grandson loves!
