I like the boots, great fit. The only thing that would make the boots better is a pull loop on the back.I returned the product because the color of the boots were not at all like the color in the description. I already have a pair that look exactly like the color in the description but the boots that came were dark brown. The photo and my old pair are very light brown bark color more like A honey shade. But boot quality is excellent. The pair I have seem to fit a half size bigger than labeled. The width is good though so they maybe ok.The boots looks great. Bad laces, will see with the time.Heavy, very heavy.Put sno-seal on them when I got them in November 2015. Tore the leather on the toe dropping a cast iron bathtub on my toe during late winter 2016. Sealed it with shoe glue. Toe is fine. Dropped a lift gate on my foot fall 2016. No injury. By fall 2017 the outsoul had enough. Only reason I didn't buy another pair of chippewa is because they are a little narrow so it took a month to stretch the leather. 10/10. Saved my foot twice, and lasted 2 years. So far the boots are working just fine, but only a few days of real use so far in cold, snowy, New England.Feb 2016, one year later, still going strong. Insulation keeps feet warm in winter and keeps heat out in summer, waterproof, original laces, worn every working day, sole lugs showing signs of wear so will replace in a month or two, probably with same.I ordered an 11.5 and they were just a touch big so if you are in between sizes and don't plan on wearing thick socks, go with the smaller size.If you are moving, these would be comfortable down into the teens or lower. Sitting still you could probably stand to wear them into the 70's without being too hot. I wore them today in 50 degree rainy weather and my feet stayed warm and dry.I haven't compared them to any other boots in this style but they are comfy, offer good support & don't feel overly heavy on my feet.My husband is a firm believer in this brand of boots. He will buy no others for work. He is 6'4 and 300 pounds with size 14 EEE feet. Finding comfortable, long lasting, high quality work boots is no easy task. The fact that they are made in the USA is an added bonus for my Union Electrician. They come with a guarantee and the company will repair or replace the boots should they break or the style detaches from the leather. They are well constructed. I would suggest these boots for any hard working man.
