I’m 5’ 11” tall. About 160-ish lbs. the Large size is just right. It’s roomy. So, I can add an extra layer, but not so roomy that I’m “swimming in it”.The sleeves are correctly long enough! And so is the hood so, it actually stays on when I look up! Most hoods aren’t tall enough for me. They’re always tight at the back of the neck, and the hood falls right off when I look up. This one fits! Yay!It’s very quiet. Nice. The pockets are good. The cuffs are adjustable. The 2-way zipper is convenient!Especially when seated, and need to reach something on your belt.I like that it has a “drop-back”. The extra bit of length helps keep unwanted breezes at bay when stooped over.Or say… leaning forward on a motorcycle.Overall, a good purchase! It’s rare that I say this, but here it is…I’m totally happy with this one!Well done!IncreíbleUnfortunately unable to rate this product since the zipper was defective. Not too bad , for the money, haf to wonder how long it will last.I am a waterfowl hunter and live in NE South Dakota. I 've been looking for a lightweight, but warm jacket for late season duck/goose hunting. I was able to give it the true test today. I spent the morning goose hunting in a strong 25 mph wind and an air temperature of about 16 degrees F. (which is about -2 F windchill) I wore a hooded sweatshirt underneath my new Wildfowler Outfitter jacket and stayed warm the entire time! It did an excellent job of keeping the cold out and protecting me from the wind. I really like the jacket's length because it sits 6"-7" s below my waist. The hood design and lining was also a nice feature in today's weather! The only thing I don't really care for on the jacket is the velcro flaps on the pockets. I keep extra shotgun shells in my pockets and so I prefer pockets with snaps. The velcro makes it a little a bit cumbersome to get shells out because it catches and sticks everytime I'd reach for shells. I finally just tucked the pocket flaps inside so they wouldn't catch. The pocket design is a minor nuisance and comes down to personal preference. I know I'm going to get a lot of good use out of this jacket, especially for the price! It’s lightweight but super warm. Bought it to duck hunt in but so far it’s been my go-to on the cold wet days when I have to do farm work and tend to the horses. I wear it with a tank top and end up sweating most days. The inside is comfortable and soft. Definitely cheaper than drake and honestly lighter but just as warm. I bought a small and it’s a tad big on me but that’s room to add layers if needed. I’m typically a women’s small or juniors medium and about a 34 bust if that helps anyone to determine the size needed especially ladies.I typically don’t write reviews just after receiving a product but when I put it on and went out to the store. It seems to generate heat very quickly. I think you could get away with just a tee shirt. It was 20 degrees with a good wind. I did flip the hood up easily could fit a hoodie under it. I got a large because I’m 6’1” but only 142 ( I have lupus and degenerative disk decease) it would have fit if I were my old 185lbs. I read all the reviews on amazon and other places and was really on the fence as I don’t have much to spend. I am glad I went with WILDFOWLER. I will be looking at all their products as well as recommend to others. I’ll update in 6-8 months for a product update.I do not normally become so strongly convinced that a product is exactly what I needed but this one has risen to that level! I have just returned from a Pheasant Hunt in South Dakota with weather in the single digits and teens and wind howling. Snow fell two days and the ground was covered with several inches. During each hunt I wore this jacket and never once became chilled. It is exactly what is advertised and keeps wind out and your body heat in. Actually after pulling a particularly steep hill and through thick milo, I actually unzipped the jacket some to allow a little of the built up heat out. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone that always becomes chilled while out hunting - I cannot recommend it enough!
