I love them and they came on timeI have always had the worst experience finding warm winter boots for cold MN days. I purchased these, because they are stylish enough to wear all day with a pair of jeans or sweatpants and still keep you warm. The Primaloft insulation was the best idea Timberland and being my first Timberland purchase I am already a returning customer. Since the insulation is hands down the best on the market the boots are well worth the money! They are so warm I find myself taking my boots off at my desk. You can throw the thick wool socks out the window with these, because there is no longer a need for them. The only suggestion I would have is to wear tall socks, but as far as comfort and construction goes these books are lightweight, warm, great grip, and so stylish I never want to take them off my feet! The only downside about the boot is the newer version of the Chillberg is not nearly as attractive so I am hoping these will last me for a few years. If you want to be able to walk in the slushy snow and rain puddles without fear then these are the boots for you. They are surprisingly light weight they feel and look of great quality, and theyre quite warm. Im used to wearing the timberland premium boots which have the construction look and you will need a half size larger than those.Im usually a size 8.5-9 in nike sneakers and a size 9 in these boots was the perfect length.CONS -This boot is very narrow when theyre new. I have flat feet which are wider than average because theres no arch so these boots were extremely tight from the sides almost to the point where i thought i couldnt wear them but i wore them indoors and outdoors to break them in and i swear it took about 6 days wearing them for them to be comfortable they shaped to my feet and are now very comfy warm and extremely waterproof.Give them a chance to break in that first week and you'll love them.Ok so I ordered this boot in a Size 9. The box arrived and said Size 9 on the box. Inside, the boot is a size 8 1/2. I tried it on, and surprisingly, it fit well. I will not be returning it but I guess be aware of that.I wore them the first day to break them in and they were comfortable for at least 5-6 hours. One thing for sure, the teeth on this boot really grip whatever you step on. As I write this, its snowing out, so tomorrow morning will be the big test. Its a nice high boot, waterproof and very warm.I love Timberland boots and highly recommend these boots.Warm, check. Tall, check. Waterproof, check. Rugged lug sole, check. Great looking, check. They are a bit difficult to get fully tight with the D-ring laces loops but those will help you get these off when the laces are iced-up. The top few inches of the tongue isn't sewn; most of it is, but in deep snow this may be a concern. Sole is a little squeaky and slippery on hard or wet surfaces; Timberland could do a better job with the sole. Almost a perfect boot but more than good enough for shoveling and dog walks in the snow.It is not that I dislike them but my feet seem unworthy. I have not worn a great pair of boots in a long while and these are one of the best. It looks awesome and fit just right for my feet and contour to my ankle. They can be easily removed as one can put them on. The boots feel stiff and flexible at the same time, and it lets my feet breathe which is a rare feat for some boots. The height of the boots are just right in case of deep-snowy weather and the material is weather-proof for wet and cold conditions. Since they are somewhat insulated, I would not suggest them to be worn in temperatures above 50 degrees, fahrenheit.I've heard my co-workers talk and talk and talk about Timberland boots. But up until this brutal winter, i never thought about them. However, with the cold days unending, I felt I needed a back up pair of winter boots, since my job exposes me to all kinds of weather, much of it inclement. My wife, who has a knee problem, purchased a pair and sang their praises to the heavens. So I bit the bullet and purchased (after reading a lot of reviews), these. I can't be happier. These are comfortable right out of the box, warm (with the right pair of socks) and sturdy on the ice and snow I'm currently tromping through. Totally happy with these. I may have to think about Timberlands when my current normal weather work boots wear out.I got these boots for winter camping and such. They fit well and break in fast. I wore them in the rain and my feet were dry, I have not submerged them yet, so I can't vouch for the waterproof quality yet. They are really comfortable, I have them on as I am writing the review, so far so good. These have 200grams of insulation, if I was going to be sitting around in temps under 20degrees, I would probably want a boot with more insulation. But these are good for New Jersey winters.. The only annoying things, is the metal eye loops, the lace is hard to keep tight. The most comfortable boots ever however i dont feel the build quality is very good for a premium priced boot. They are so comfotable that i gave them two shots and bought secound pair after the first didnt last. The tread on the bottom and parts of the boot have fallen apart after about a year on both pairs. At this price would expect longer life. These are after one wear probably the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I'm not Shackleton but I'm sure these boots will take all I can throw at them, well made and very warm indeed. I normally take a size 9 but as so many have stated I ordered 9 1/2 and with an insole and medium thickness thermal socks they are perfect. One very happy chappy.Five star very comfortable winter snow Boots, at a very good price.they look and feel top Quality infact I can't find anything wrong with these snow winter walking boots but saying that I've not worn them outside as yet but I know these boots will be fantastic.I've always taken a size 9 (UK) , but I bought size 9.5 and they are a great fit. Couldn't pass up on a bargain after I Googled to see if feet get bigger or smaller with age.Apparently our feet get bigger with age. Both longer and broader. So, if like me you usually take a size 9 go bigger and bag yourself a bargain.Absolutely love a bargain and at 71pounds I am delighted... not only do these boots look great they are very comfortable to wear
