Description
This super-insulating Omni-Shield® liner jacket combines 100 grams of thermal insulation with a thermal reflective lining for insane heat retention. Zip-in Interchange compatibility allows you to combine this with the Wader Widgeon Shell for even more foul-weather protection. Stay warm on the hunting trail in this super-insulating Omni-Heat liner jacket. Designed for a relaxed fit, it features 100 grams of Columbia's progressive thermal insulation, which has a soft and light down-like feel combined with the highest heat retention per gram in the industry. The zip-in interchange system allows you to combine this liner with its corresponding shell for even more protection in foul weather. The jacket's shorter length is ideal for wearing over waders. Zip-closed hand pockets and a chest security pocket provide easy-access storage for shells, snacks, and other survival items. Columbia's Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective technology helps regulate your temperature by reflecting and retaining the warmth your body generates--all while dissipating moisture and excess heat to keep you comfortable. The technology truly manages body heat for exceptional performance in the outdoors. It provides an average heat boost of 20 percent without any additional weight or bulk, and, when coupled with other insulating fills, its metallic nature neutralizes the static that can cause migration and discomfort. To maintain warmth and prevent heat loss, this product features Omni-Heat Thermal Insulated technology--a soft,50-percent recycled fill that is the warmest insulation by weight in the industry. It enables you to stay cozy with less bulk on your back or in your bags.Product Features:Shell: 100 percent polyester Lining: 100 percent polyester Insulation: 50 percent polyester, 50 percent recycled polyester (100-gram) Omni-Heat thermal reflective and insulated technology Zip-in interchange system Insulated Center Back Length: 25 inches Imported Manufacturer's Warranty Columbia Outerwear comes with a limited lifetime warranty. This includes defects in zipper pulls, zippers, snaps, stitching, dye bleeding, leaking of Columbia's waterproof outerwear line, and any other outerwear defects that may occur under normal wear. Columbia does not warranty and is not responsible for damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, the natural breakdown of materials over time, or problems that may be reasonably expected with normal wear or failure to follow outerwear care instructions.About Columbia Sportswear Founded in 1938, Columbia Sportswear Company has grown from a small family-owned hat distributor to one of the world's largest outerwear brands and the leading seller of skiwear in the United States. Columbia's extensive product line includes a wide variety of outerwear, sportswear, rugged footwear and accessories. Columbia specializes in developing innovative products that are functional yet stylish and offer great value. Eighty-year-old matriarch Gert Boyle, chairman of the board, and her son, Tim Boyle, president and CEO, lead the company. Columbia's history starts with Gert's parents, Paul and Marie Lamfrom, when they fled Germany in 1937. They bought a small hat distributorship in Portland, Oregon, and named it Columbia Hat Company, after the river bordering the city. Soon frustrated by poor deliveries from suppliers, the Lamfroms decided to start manufacturing products themselves. In 1948, Gert married college sweetheart Neal Boyle, who joined the family business and later took the helm of the growing company. When Neal suddenly died of a heart attack in 1970, Gert enlisted help from Tim, then a college senior. After that it wasn't long before business really started to take off. Columbia was one of the first companies to make jackets from waterproof/breathable fabric. The company introduced the breakthrough technology called the Columbia Interchange System, in which a shell and liner combine for multiple wearing options. In the early 1980s, then-60-year-old Gert began her role as "Mother Boyle" in Columbia's successful and popular advertising campaign. The company went public in 1998 and moved into a new era as a world leader in the active outdoor apparel industry. Today, Columbia Sportswear employs more than 1,800 people around the world and distributes and sells products in more than 50 countries and to more than 12,000 retailers internationally.
